Welcome

Horsham Normandy WI is a group of lively  women with enquiring minds who meet once a month to enjoy friendship, exchange ideas and most months we have a speaker at our meeting. We also participate in the regular county and national federation activities.

We meet in the morning, at the United Reformed Church Hall, Springfield Road, in Horsham town centre  on  the 3rd Thursday of the month. This modern building is fully equipped for the facilities we may need. It is easily reached from the bus station and there are car parking facilities nearby.

A programme of speakers and events has been created and published. Our Craft Group and Book Group meet monthly at the John Lewis Cafe. We have maintained a monthly coffee morning for members to see and chat to each other. Other members organise a Walking group and Lunch group.

As WI members we pay a yearly subscription to the Federation due in April. The subscription for 2024-25 will be £48 with the first time members of the WI paying a pro-rata subscription depending on the time of year they join. The cost for WSN (West Sussex News) is now being charged to the branch and WSN will be  distributed to all members. This will be delivered by email where possible, although printed copies are provided for members without email.

Fundraising events are occasionally held at meetings to contribute to the cost of regular expenditure which includes rent, speakers and refreshments.

We currently have restricted capacity for new members, and find it necessary to have a waiting list. However, if you do wish to get in touch please use the Contact Us link in the top menu and our President or Secretary will be in touch to answer any questions you may have and will invite you to visit us as soon as possible.

We would love to meet you.

We gained permission to place our soft textile banner on the Carfax Bandstand for the duration of the Clean Rivers promotion during September 2023.

Just wanted to say how much we love your postbox toppers. Over recent years, they have given us much joy, particularly the one on North Parade ( by the park entrance).
Thank you all so much for doing this for the people of Horsham

My team and I were pleasantly surprised by your post box topper outside our shop on North Parade. Such a lovely sight to see when you come into work, so talented and it gave us all a happy feeling. Thank you to all involved xx

Thank you for your wonderful post box toppers – we always enjoy them but the recent ones depicting children’s stories have been magical for our 2 year old, particularly the Gruffalo on Trafalger Road

Just to say how fantastic the post box toppers of Wallace and Grommet are by the coop in north parade and In trafalgar road. They are so clever.

Hi, totally love your postbox toppers – just wondering if anyone had thought of celebrating St George’s Day with some special toppers. As a local scout leader we would love a trail we could do with our beavers, cubs and scouts.
